Lovely fabrics

The fabric samples are very helpful in determining whether they are appropriate for your project. I needed silk brocade for an historical recreation event, and it was harder to find than I thought it would be! However, having the fabric samples was very helpful. What I needed was real silk brocade, and the samples are so much more useful to see than just trying to figure out the what the material looks and feels like from online photos. I ended up choosing a solid red "silk" brocade, actually "art silk" or viscose. The fabric was approved by the event organizers and I'll see how it wears next spring! I can't wait to try it out.
