Taffeta is a crisp, smooth, plain woven fabric made from silk .The word is Persian in origin and means "twisted woven". It is considered to be a "high-end" fabric, suitable for use in ball gowns, wedding dresses, and in interior decoration for curtains or wallcoverings. It is also widely used in the manufacture of corsets and corsetry: it yields a more starched-like type of cloth that holds its shape better than many other fabrics.

The texture is good, not to stiff. The fabric weave is even and neat. However, the embroidery that I recieved was off in colors. I have separate (extensive) complaints about delivery time and organisation. The seller did send the image after embroidery was done for approval. I saw that it was different, but due to my order already taking 1.5 months, I agreed. I still recommend the worker responsible for the embroidery to check himself for colourblindness, as the colors are drastically different. Overall if the order didnt take 3 MONTHS, I would be a lot more pleased
